BASC

BASC (Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition) is a cooperative system between the private sector and international and foreign organizations to foment safe international commerce by strengthening security standards for the protection of international commerce.

The primary objective of BASC is to promote the development and execution of preventive actions to avoid the use of legitimate commerce for smuggling (narcotics and contraband) and terrorism.

BASC is a world model for cooperative programs. Because of the successful association it has achieved between logistics management, customs and international and governmental organizations it been able to foment secure controls and logistical processes for its members.

The companies that form part of BASC are periodically audited and provide a guarantee that their products and services adhere to strict quality controls in all areas.
